The first few days in Portugal was a real eye opener for us. We had just spent five months travelling with our caravan in France and then Spain to try and find a good deal on a house for our fresh start and it took us all the way to the western side of Europe, where the money went further and the sun shone long enough and warm enough to justify our big move.
We camped at Foz Do Arelho in our caravan while the builder finished the work on our house. It was August before it would be ready. But…that is life. Nothing is perfect, but on the whole, Portugal is a paradise, especially on the Silver Coast were we are. We ca live with that!
