During the summer lots of people go abroad. Some like going on cruises and some go to a different or some just go for a camping trip. Where will you be going with your family this summer? There are several of destinations to choose from throughout the world but most family look for a destination where they can enjoy sun, beach and family activities. Places such as Caribbean, Hawaii, Spain, Cuba, Egypt and many more provide all those. I say sunny weather because UK weather is not known for its summer.
Holiday is like a regular thing in most family’s life. So when you nearer to the summer you start looking for a family holiday. This is also the only time you will probably get to spend more time with your kids as the schools will be closed for few weeks. Children are also expecting a holiday after a long school term, this gives them opportunity to forget about their past term and focus on their new term. Every child deserves that to be honest. When I was in my primary school we always used to go on holiday to American or Australia to see my cousins. Going to America was definitely one of the best adventures as few times we took a cruise over there to Miami. The first cruise line I took to travel to USA was called silversea cruises. The cruise ship was very big. They also included several activities for children. It was a fantastic trip.
For a family holiday for all members to have fun, I would definitely suggest the Caribbean. We also went there few times it was brilliant. The weather was always very good, the beaches were awesome, everything was good. We were involved in lots of water sports such as jet skii, swimming with the dolphins and also scuba diving.
We are heading back to the Caribbean this September in voyages of discovery as the offer they provided was too difficult to turn down. I am looking forward to this trip as I am 16 now and I was 9 last time I went there.
A lot of people go on a holiday once or twice a year or even more. Many go on holiday with their relatives and many go with their good friends. Either it’s a luxury cruises holidays or bag packing around Europe holiday is a holiday. There are others who enjoy going on holiday by themselves.
I like to enjoy things in my own time and I won’t have too many responsibilities travelling alone than travelling with my family. When travelling with family you have certain regulations that you will need to follow and won’t be able open yourself up and just be free. When you are alone and single you can do whatever you want, guys you know what I mean, but with family there are restrictions then you need think about before doing anything. This doesn’t mean anything illegal or something stupid.
What I mean by free is you don’t have to worry about booking a hotel if you are bag packing, you can easily camp out or live in a hotel. If you go with your family then you will have to plan everything before hand so that it doesn’t become a disaster holiday. A year ago I went on silversea cruises to the Caribbean, I didn’t plan my stay I just camped out with my fellow travelers and the locals. It was a great experience.
My next trip is surely going to be travelling to South East Asia before I get married or settle down with someone. I want to do this on my own as well because this also gives me an opportunity to see how people are living in poor condition and learn different cultures of the World. I am also planning to do some volunteer work in India and Nepal for a children’s charity. After that I can go back to my royal caribbean cruises and rest for few months in the lovely Bahamas.

Many people from UK going to another European country for a heavy weekend away or for few days. Heavy weekend meaning weekend which is full of drinks, sun and dancing. Some just go for that and nothing else. They like visiting places with good warm weather as in the UK we hardly have sunshine. There places such as Barcelona, Mallorca, Ibiza, Istanbul and Athens full of British tourists. We just love going to Spain, Greece and Turkey. But some other people love going on a cruise to places such as Bahamas or other the Caribbean islands.
Age factor also plays a massive part on choosing a certain type of holiday. the research in 2009 shows that young people upto the age of 30 (singles) enjoy going to holidays where they can enjoy outdoor activities and night lifes. Whereas people with family like to go for a different reasons because they have children who want to go to Disney land. There is nothing wrong with this Disney land can be fun for adults too as I have been there and I had a fantastic time.
When I was young even I wanted to go on holidays with my friends more than my family to places where I can drink the night away with no responsiblities. I am 43 now with 2 kids and to be honest these days I prefer somewhere quite or a lovely cruise holiday to Bahamas but my children insist we should go to Disney land every year I don’t think I can handle the rides nowadays. We have been on MSC cruises and Windstar cruises in the past and have a fantastic experience.
There are many cruise vacations to choose from. You just have to make sure that you select the best one as you will be spending quite a bit of money if you want to go on a cruise. Regent cruises are another big cruise line which offers all inclusive experience. What I mean by all inclusive is that when you buy a cruise, the drinks and the foods are all included in the price. There are various cafes where you will be able to enjoy quite time with your family with some coffee and cakes. They host a dance competition every weekend which you will be able to enjoy with your girlfriend or wife or even the crew (just joking).
Some luxury cruises not so long ago left UK to different countries to help the stranded vacationers in Spain, Amsterdam and many other European destinations. This is because the flights have been cancelled for few days as the volcanic ash are still covering the sky. One of them was cruise ship Celebrity Eclipse. Eclipse cancelled their launch which was meant to happen on April 22nd to assist the vacationers who are still waiting to come home back home from Spain because of the flights being cancelled.
Many UK citizens went abroad for a break of few days for Easter but they have been stuck at the destination for a while now. Few of them have managed to come back from a different transport facility but most of them are still stuck abroad. Celebrity Eclipse cruise ship arrived in Southampton, UK on the 20th of April and then was off to Spain to pick the travellers. It then departed to Bilbao in Spain to pick over 2,000 travellers to get them home.
The ship is dedicated to the UK and helping the British public in its arrival is a great thing done by the ship. There are many people who could have made their way home through this route earlier but unfortunately some of them did not have any money to spend. This gesture from the celebrity cruise ship will definitely come as a surprise to them but something that they dearly require. As you may be have seen in BBC news there was a massive smile on people’s face and also relief of knowing that a cruise is coming to help them to take them home. They said they were excited to come back home and also would like to thank Celebrity cruise ship for this help. Some said they will definitely go on a cruise holidays in this cruise ship one day.
Another thing is for sure that my next cruising holiday either it is silversea cruises or voyages of discovery , I will definitely be choosing Celebrity Eclipse. Celebrity cruises have also won an award of being one of the trusted surveys of consumer travel preferences in the World. This is another one of the cruise ship’s great achievement. They are definitely building their reputation in a positive manner.

The Caribbean Islands have attracted millions and millions of people from different parts of the World. Caribbean Islands hosts one of the most exotic beaches around the World and the weather is always fantastic there. There are some stunning islands such as St. Lucia and St. Vincent, where you will be able to enjoy the beach, water sports with your family and friends. Oh and another factor is the rum, and how can we forget that? Relaxing under the sun in a lovely Royal caribbean cruises and sipping on the best of Caribbean rums is definitely one of the holidays to think about.
