Now i am saying that people go on holiday at the summer time, but they don’t book there holidays in summer time. Now this isn’t true.
We all want to go on holiday in the summer, but we don’t book our holidays then. The one thing that does happen in summer is a spike in bookings at certain times.
There are many factors that will effect whether or not you book a last minute holiday, and it usually comes down to the weather in your local area. This shows how much people think alike, and this spike shows when have had enough and want that last minute holiday.
January, this is the biggest month for holiday sales and bookings, just after Christmas there is a massive demand for holidays. Booking these holidays this early does make more sense than we would normally presume.
Have you got to try and find some way of getting time off work, well an early booking gives you the time to sort it out. A common misconception is that the early you make your booking, the harder it is change. Summer holidays can be notoriously hard to book, and leaving it too late even more so, so people like to book early.
This is the time when Tour Operators make there most, and gives us and them a general outline of how well they are going to do in the year. January is the best month, and a good indicator of how well they will do for the rest of the year. The only times when they capitalise after a bad start is in the summer, for late holiday deals, or at Christmas time, for the best possible Caribbean holidays.
